on sunday, the Singapore Diehard Supporters
gather together at the Geylang United FC clubhouse
to catch the second leg finals between thailand
and singapore. though we could not fly to thailand to
support the Lions, our hearts are still with them.
we were cheering our hearts out in front of the
big screen throughout the whole match.
khairul amri was the hero of the match.
congrats to alam shah for winning the Top Scorer
and Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
im really proud of the whole team.
they did a wonderful job by clinching the title.
the match ended 1-1 in bangkok.
singapore won 3-2 on aggregate in the 2-leg finals.

this is Singapore's second successive title
since we're crowned the champion in 2005.
and now in 2007, Singapore is hailed as
the Asean Champion once again!

on monday [yesterday], headed down to
Changi Airport to welcome back
our very own Singapore team.
quite alot of fans were there to cheer on
the Lions. and yes, to see the Trophy too!
i managed to take photo with my favourite
no.17 of the Lions, Shahril Ishak and the
Lions' Captain, Aide Iskandar.

we are the champion!
